The iris is a rare ingredient, one of the most subtle and expensive in the perfumer’s palette. It is therefore favoured in the most prestigious perfumery. We extract the essence of iris from the root, also called rhizome. It takes a minimum of 8 years of meticulous time to create.” Yvon Mouchel
